There are plenty of activities going on in Porthcawl to get involved in over half term. Here are some of our favourites.
Geology of the Heritage Coastline Tour at Ogmore-by-Sea, Vale of Glamorgan
Thursday 20th February at 9am-4pm or Friday 21st February 10am-5pm
This event is perfect if you want to explore the pristine, beautiful South Wales coastline. Kids will love finding prehistoric dinosaur footprints in the rocks and while this promises to be a peaceful, relaxing, informative and memorable day for adults. Find out more here.
Festival of Light Exhibition at Carnegie House, Bridgend
Friday 21st February at 1pm-6pm
This free exhibition will feature nature and sea themed light installations, circus performers, samba band and face painting and will showcase some of the fantastic lanterns created by the community. Come along for a day of family fun. Find out more here.
Gin Masterclass at Cosy Corner, Porthcawl
Thursday 20th February at 7pm-11pm
While there’s lots of events for the kids to do, here’s one for the adults. Cosy Corner are hosting a Gin Masterclass night. Guest host Wayne Stephenson will talk about the history of gin and how you can make the perfect G&T. Tickets cost £30 which include a G&T on arrival, the chance to create 4 different gins & mixers and a £5 donation to Latch. Find out more here.
Wales v France Rugby International
Kick off at Saturday 22nd February 4:45pmWhat’s more Welsh and patriotic than watching the rugby? Dig out your Welsh rugby jersey and catch Wales take on France in the Six Nations at many of the pubs and bars in Porthcawl or visit Cardiff to soak in the atmosphere.
